Poker Night

Poker NightLast night was poker night and the turnout was pretty good. Neil, Phil, Matt and Stephen all came and we had a good laugh. The larger part of the evening was spent with 4 of us trying to drop major hints to Stephen that Neil had pinched 20 of his chips while he’d been on a toilet break, and that I was now betting with them. It was very very funny. Sorry Stephen!

Over the course of the evening we consumed far too much snack food and some of us even ventured into the territory of alchohol (oo-er…). Sarah made the decision (which was probably a wise one) to hide in the bedroom and watch the top 50 comedy films on E4. I caught the last few and was relieved to discover that The Life Of Brian made #1. Usually these things are won by some totally undeserving title/artist and I get all uptight about it, but not this time :)

    Of course, it just so happened that I had so many chips that I just really didn’t notice the loss at all! (I did win in the end, by a reasonable amount…) ;)
