Technology eh?
I figured out how to make my blogroll show in order of updatedyness, the only problem being that it is in fact just a randomiser so far as I can tell. Jess’s blog is top of the list at the moment, when I know for a fact that Simon, Stu and my sister, and my Photoblog have all updated more recently than Jess. I’m sure I’ll get it sorted sooner or later.
It’s been a busy few days as it turns out. On friday evening we managed to get some downtime finally. We watched the first in the new series of Never Mind The Buzzcocks, and generally lazed about. So in fact that first statement was a complete lie, it hasn’t been a busy few days, only a busy two days.
Saturday morning I did some work on the car, but only got a quarter of what I wanted to do done. Then we realised we had no food whatsoever, so we went to the Co-op and got stuff for lunch. In the afternoon we went to Eastbourne to pick up a shiny new mobile phone for Sarah who is very excited about it, and to trapse round every shop looking for a pair of boots for Sarah to wear to Rob & Ju’s wedding. We didn’t find any.
In the evening we wen’t to Diane’s (a friend from work) engagement party, which was quite good. The DJ seemed to have a ‘the best of the worst party songs ever’ album which he played punctuated by ‘obscure hits of the 80s’. It was good fun sitting with Neil and trying to identify the songs and artists though.
Sunday was busy with church activities, and the selling of my old car, which was nice. The money from that will be going toward the iMac I want. We also caught up on Robin Hood which we’ve been recording since we’re way too busy to watch when it’s actually on TV.
Another easy night tonight I hope!
Maybe I’ll have something interesting to write about one day soon…
I got a new phone today!
On friday night we went to see Jeff Green at the paramount comedy festival in Brighton. Seriously funny stuff! I’d seen him on television once or twice before. There were several points in the show where I actually couldn’t breath for laughing. Obviously it was his high level of intelectual humour that appealed to me…
