Lovely day for a wedding
Yesterday our friends Rob & Ju from church got married. It was a great day and lots of fun was had by all. I took loads of photos and I think i might touch up one or two and give to them as a gift. They had great weather nearly all day. It was quite odd actually, after the wedding, they exited the church and we had a photo session in the sunshine. Almost exactly as they got into the wedding car (which was ridiculous as you can see) it began spitting, so those of us left at the church took shelter for a few moments. The rain got heavier by the minute so in the end we made a run for the car. By the time we reached it the rain had become hail and got more intense as we drove to the restaurant for the reception. We parked and walked up to the restaurant. As we arrived the wedding car pulled up, the door opened, and the rain stopped. Beatiful sunshine reappeared and the day continued its happy theme.
It really was very surreal.
