Segways Rock!

Sarah and I just got back yesterday from a week long holiday camping in Cornwall. The whole set of pictures are on my flickr gallery.

We stayed at a campsite in Gwithian near St Ives which was right next to the beach. It was a really idillic place:

The 15th was our anniversary of getting together. We’ve been a couple for 7 years now, and married for more than half that!

The Lakes Part 3

2 months overdue, I realise, but here is the final installment of our holiday in the lakes back in March. Don’t forget all the whole photo album can be seen at flickr in more detail.

Day 3 was one of the most enjoyable for me. We booked ourselves in for a high ropes course called ‘Go Ape’ in Grizdale. The course would go ahead no matter what the weather, so when it was very wet, we thought ‘oh dear’ but went anyway. We got there too early, so we went to a cafe in Hawkshead where we had lunch in a cafe with the biggest cake ever & Owen decided he loved goat’s cheese.

Then we visited the popular Hawkshead clothing store. I got a pair of un-comfy shoes and Sarah got some very comfy walking boots. I guess her mega-comfort balances out my un-comfort. I swear they were comfy when I tried them in the shop!
