Simple Pleasures

Today everyone on our floor at work, except IT, went for a meeting in the boardroom. While they were gone, myself and a colleague dropped everyone’s office chairs as low as they’d go.

When they came back there was a chorus of “ooohh”s as they each sat down and dropped further than they’d expected!

It was rather obvious who’d done it as we were rolling around laughing…

    Your little prank made me smile, Rob. There have been times when i worked with people who liked each other enough to think this is funny–lucky when we do have those kinds of colleagues.

    I had a colleague who used to push my chair down as far as it’d go, push it right under the desk, then pop it up again so the arms get stuck under the desk’s crossmember. Have you ever tried pushing a chair down when you can’t get to the seat? Very annoying, but also most amusing.

    Its times like these I miss working in a big office with lots of people… that gag’s not as funny when you’re by yourself…!
