The chattri / Jack & Jill

After several weeks of trying to find some free time that coincided with a nice blue sky, I today managed to take my camera up onto the downs at Pyecombe to photograph the Chattri, a memorial to the Indians who gave their lives fighting on the western front during world war I, and the Jack & Jill windmills.

Unfortunately I seem to have developed some pretty bad knee trouble which made the return journey pretty painful, but I think it was worth it for the pictures. Judge for yourself:
